Father's Day in Newburyport

Matt and Alicia graciously offered to host the Father's Day celebration at their home in Newburyport. We were the first to arrive with Melissa, Matt and Madeleine arriving shortly after. Thijs was taking a nap so he had no idea that the house would be full of people once he got up. You'll see his expression on finding a house full of people after napping. We had a lovely time and a wonderful meal. We had lobsters, grilled veggies, corn on the cob, potato salad, wine and a giant "whoopee pie" cake for dessert. All very yummy. I tried my first Mojito drink and found it very tasty and refreshing. The following pictures are the reason for Father's Day. Enjoy!

Thijs and his Dad wearing Celtics shirts to support
the team. The Celtics are now the champions.
Yeah!!

Madeleine with her Daddy looking pretty in pink.

Thijs looks like a Cupie Doll in this photo with
his little lock of hair down on his forehead.

Thijs and Madeleine "having a ball" playing
together.

Madeleine enjoying a banana treat.

Grandpa, Tia and Thijs pose for a shot.

Madeleine is a little taller than Thijs.

Cute and loving cousins.

Shall we dance?

Thijs is not too sure what's happening after waking
from his nap.

"Deer in the headlights" look.
