Gathering of family and friends

On Thursday July 17th our friends that we go up to Vermont with in the fall, came for a "cookout". Our children and their families joined us as well. We gathered so that Rita, who was visiting with us at the time, could get to see everyone in one place. We all had a great time and a wonderful meal. Our friends got to meet the little ones, Thijs and Madeleine. Here are some pictures I took on that day.

We babysat Madeleine while her parents went out for a nice dinner to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary. Madeleine will be one year old on August 3rd and she's growing up fast. Check out these pictures.

Thijs and Ella's Dedication

On Sunday, July 6th Thijs and Ella were dedicated to the Advent Christian Church in Alton Bay, NH. We went up to attend and celebrate with the family. Alicia's grandmother has a wonderful cottage overlooking the lake. We all gathered there before the ceremony. It took place in a little chapel on the grounds of the Advent Christian Center. It was a really warm day, but everyone had a great time. The babies did very well and entertained us all day. After the ceremony we all had a great meal. The little ones got to enjoy the beach area so we have some pictures of that too. I stole a few photos off of Madeleine's blog. The placement of the photos is a little disjointed but I think you'll still enjoy them.
