More Snow/&Pictures of our Christmas decor

Today is the last day of 2007. New Year's Eve.
We had a pretty good snow storm last night
into the morning. This snow was heavier than
the last. The snowblower broke down for
awhile so I shoveled the driveway. Thankfully
Ray was able to get the snowblower going again
because tomorrow we are expecting a foot of
snow. I think it's time to have our driveway
plowed by someone else.

Tia enjoys romping through the snow. The snow
sticks to her hair and forms little snowballs on
her legs.

Here's our living room decorated for Christmas.

Visit and dinner at Thijs' house

The Friday after Christmas Thijs' Mom and Dad
invited us over for dinner and for a visit. We had
a great time. I got to hold Thijs for awhile and
he even fell asleep on me. He is so cute and
cuddly. We had a great dinner that was lovingly
prepared by Alicia. Roast beef, garlic mashed
potatoes, steemed green beans and dessert.
Yummy! Here I am holding Thijs before dinner.

I took a picture of their beautiful Christmas
tree.

Janice and Madeleine on Christmas day.

All dressed up for Christmas.

Time for a little break.

Christmas Eve with the Family

Here's Madeleine decked out like Santa's little
helper.

Isn't she cute!

Thijs was all dressed up for Christmas too. He
had grey flannel slacks, an oxford button down
shirt and a grey argyle vest. Here he is with
his Auntie Melissa.

A Quick Visit from Madeleine

Look at Madeleine in her cute little holiday
outfit. Don't you just love the French berret?

Lemieux Christmas Party 2007

We had a lovely time at Paul and Ann's house.
They always make you feel right at home and
the food is scrumptous.

Ray and Moe Jean share a friendly snapshot.

Moe and Pauline look their finest in their
holiday garments.

Joan and Ray smile for the camera.

Here's Ann talking to Rita in Florida. We wanted
Rita to be part of our gathering so we gave her
a call and all got the chance to wish her a Merry
Christmas.

Dinner at Dave and Vivs

dinner.

Ray and Dave chat and catch up on their news.

The Bourque's Christmas Tree

Third December Snowstorm

This little pine tree is all decked out
for Christmas.

More snow to plow for Ray.
Fortunately, we had a warmer day where the
snow melted a bit. We still have plenty to look
at nevertheless.

Pictures from Thijs' blog

Here's our two little burrito friends
having a sleep over at Thijs' house.
Aren't they cute!

Here's Thijs looking dapper in his
Santa outfit.

Sleeping peacefully.

Mémère babysits Madeleine

I recently had the opportunity to sit with Madeleine at her home while her Mommy went to work and to a doctors appointment. Madeleine is so sweet. At first she missed her Mommy but we quickly got over that and she did marvelous with me. We had lots of fun. We sang and danced and played pat-a-cake. The following are a few pictures I took while there.

Here's Madeleine in her exersaucer. She drools
a lot when she plays in this. She wants to put
everything in her mouth.

Here she is in her swing. She loves to hang out
in her swing. She swivels around and can see
everything that's going on.

Madeleine loves her bath time and splashes
vigorously with her feet.

Getting dressed into her PJ's

Every night Madeleine reads a bedtime story
with her Mom. See how she pays attention
.
Madeleine gave us a good chuckle.

She likes playing with her elephant toy.

Let It Snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Two snowstorms in a matter of a couple of days. Haven't seen this much snow in a few years. In fact, the last few years we didn't have any significant snow until February. Here it is not even officially winter yet. Here are some pictures I took this morning of my poor sick husband snowblowing our driveway and I took some of our back deck along with the icicles hanging off the roof. Both of us have bad colds. Bah Humbug!!!
