Madeleine and her cast

Madeleine fell out of her crib recently, bumped her head and sported a black eye. Then her parents found out that she also fractured her wrist during that fall. So now she's wearing a nice pink cast for a couple of weeks while her wrist heals. She's oblivious to the cast although if you ask her about it she shows it to you. Luckily it doesn't bother her too much. Take a look.

I babysat Thijs Sunday afternoon while his parents went out.
We had lots of fun. He showed me his playroom and I think
his slide is his favorite right now. Check it out.

Christmas at the Tagues

Christmas Eve was spent at our house even though 3 days before we were without
electricity for 9 days. We had the worst ice storm in NH history. What a mess! But
thankfully our daughter and son-in-law helped us out during that time by letting us
stay with them. We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed watching Madeleine as
she went about her business everyday. What a joy she is. The following are pictures
we took on Christmas Eve, and of Madeleine getting her first haircut and a couple of
other pictures we took while we stayed with them. Merry Christmas everyone and
Happy New Year!
