Hammin' it up with Madeleine

The ever changing faces of Madeleine. She has more facial expressions than I could ever make. A real cutie! Check out her latest.

Having fun walking around the house.

She more often runs than walks.

Going from the house to the sun room.

Giving us one of her surprised looks.

Listening to her Grandpa.

Her "HOME ALONE" scary look.

Now Tia has the scary look waiting for Madeleine
to throw the ball.

Playing with Tia in the hallway.

Madeleine likes Tia.

Thijs' First Visit to the Barbershop

Thijs' Mom took him to get his first haircut at the barbershop. Thought you might like to see how well behaved he was. And so cute! Take a look.

Looking a little apprehensive.

Being careful not to move.

Looking good.

Putting the final touches.

Tadda!! How handsome.

Thijs hanging out with Mémère and Grandpa

We took care of Thijs while his parents went to a wedding. Thijs is a lot of fun and is walking around now all by himself. Our house isn't totally child proof so we need to watch him closely. He does listen when you say "no" but sometimes he likes to challenge you. We love him just the same.

Enjoying some refreshment while sitting with
Grandpa.

He likes to look at pictures while sipping his milk.

Cute little smile.

Looking at the fallen leaves with Tia.

Giving Tia a little loving pat.

Checking out the magazine rack.

Thijs enjoyed walking around the dining room
and kitchen. He now walks without hanging on.

Coming into the kitchen.

"Wow", "this is easy."

Barely hanging on.

Playing a game with Grandpa.

Sweet!

All cleaned up and ready for bedtime.

Thijs' First Birthday Party

Thijs turned one year old on October 28th. His parents celebrated his birthday on November 1st at beautiful Mosley Park in Newburyport, Ma. Lots of people were invited and although it was a bit cold the party was a complete success. Everyone that attended was asked to come in costume. The following pictures will give you an idea of the fun we had. The children were great and wonderful to watch. Check it out.

Thijs was dressed as a "Punk Rock Star". Here
He's tasting his birthday cake for the first time.
I think he likes it.

Very messy but delicious!

Giving his Dad a thankful smile.

Thijs is starting to get a little full and tired.

This is what an overdose of birthday cake looks like.

Now that he's done, he's had enough.

Looking more relaxed after coming in from the
cold and enjoying some time with his friend, Merlin.

Thijs received many wonderful presents. This
drum set will certainly be one of his favorites.
He loves music.

Someone gave him a little toy train with the
conductors hat and whistle.
